Degas in Basel
What a wonderful surprise! Foundation Beyeler Basel was having a special show of later works of Degas. This show combined works from private collections the first time on display for many years. Also had a great DVD on his later expermints with monotype. He would print his first image, then would do the shadow which he added pastels. Today we start our barge trip down the Rhine. I hope to have time to paint. I'm just so excited about my journey into impressionism!
