Woody 11" x 15" Transparent Watercolor on Watercolor Paper This painting will be in the Society of Decorative Painters Magazine Winter Issue later on this year.  There will be step by step photographs, plus step by step instructions with a drawing. If you're not a member you may want to join for lots of fun projects.  We also have a National Convention, plus several regional mini conventions.  I usually teach at the mini convention in Columbus, Ohio. I can't believe I haven't posted in over a month....it's been a little crazy with teaching, plus  I've been spending a lot of time at the Beach Art Center.....It's the busy time of year for us with all the snowbirds taking classes plus all our fund raisers activities are scheduled at this time. We launch our new marketing branding plan this month with Facebook.

25" x 25" Transparent Watercolor on Paper A few years ago I was teaching in Indianapolis, Indiana, of course I had to go to the museum.  All I can say is WOW! What a collection......this painting is huge, maybe 6 feet square.   I couldn't help myself when I saw this young lady looking at the painting.  I first did this in oil and loved it!  So let's see what it would look like in transparent watercolors. 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"  Transparent Watercolor on Watercolor Paper Another little project for Make it Take it Friday.  Not sure when I will teach this one.  A couple of the Ladies from my condo complex want to do a Quetzal Bird from Costa Rica.  Dick & I joined my daughter and her husband for a fabulous week a couple of years ago. Those wonderful Birds sat outside of our villa every morning.  Day 35! not stop  painting daily!
